Torrid Little Affair (Forbidden Desires #3) by Kendall Ryan – Review

The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. And I have the perfect candidate all picked out.My new assistant is tempting beyond belief with her curvy body and take-no-shit attitude. All those luscious curves, and a juicy ass I’m already in love with. God, the things that I would do to that ass…

But it’s the haunted look in her eyes that speaks to me. Like she’s taken just as much shit in her past as I have—maybe more. We both deserve a little fun.

Love can’t fix everything. Mind-blowing sex and a few killer orgasms, on the other hand?

I have a feeling those might do the trick.

This is book three in the Forbidden Desires series, and while it can be read as a standalone, it’s recommended you start with Dirty Little Secret.

This was so much better than Gavin and Emma’s story! Yeah, I said it! Fight me if you want.

These two broken souls were such a pleasure to read about. After I finished reading Dirty Little Promise I couldn’t wait for Cooper’s story, and it didn’t disappoint me!

I think Cooper is my favorite Kingsley brother. He was so amazing!! I wanted a happy ending for him so damn bad after he had his heart broken. He honestly deserved it. He was caring, understanding, but also hot as hell!

quotation-marks-leftWhether I chose to be with him or not, Cooper Kingsley would leave one heck of an impression on me.

Corrine did not know what hit her when Cooper Kingsley came into her life. She was guarded and had a history with secrets that she wanted to keep hidden away. I kept wanting to try and figure out what her secret was but I was way off once it was revealed. She needed love but shut herself off from receiving it and my heart went out for her once we got a little bit of her backstory. Since she cut herself off from dating and male interactions, when she realized she was falling for Cooper she didn’t know what to do or how to feel.

quotation-marks-leftI wasn’t falling in love with Cooper. I was already flat on the ground, breathless and blinking up at the dark future looming in front of me, wondering how I’d gotten here and what the hell I was going to do now.

All in all, this book was a joy to read, gave me feels, and it made me smile like a damn idiot.

Bring on Quinn’s book!
