Goodreads Monday is a meme hosted by Lauren @Page Turner, and the idea is to post a book that’s on your TBR pile and show it off. This is a great way to show off books you haven’t managed to read yet!
I have this sitting on my self and really need to start it. I liked the first in the series which I didn’t think I would because historical fiction is totally not my thing! I can’t wait to see more of Thomas and Audrey Rose. Especially since they released Escaping from Houdini cover.
This week I have chosen:
Title: Hunting Prince Dracula
Author: Kerri Maniscalco
Published: September 19, 2017
Goodreads Summary:
In this New York Times bestselling sequel to Kerri Maniscalco’s haunting #1 debut Stalking Jack the Ripper, bizarre murders are discovered in the castle of Prince Vlad the Impaler, otherwise known as Dracula. Could it be a copycat killer…or has the depraved prince been brought back to life?
Following the grief and horror of her discovery of Jack the Ripper’s true identity, Audrey Rose Wadsworth has no choice but to flee London and its memories. Together with the arrogant yet charming Thomas Cresswell, she journeys to the dark heart of Romania, home to one of Europe’s best schools of forensic medicine…and to another notorious killer, Vlad the Impaler, whose thirst for blood became legend.
But her life’s dream is soon tainted by blood-soaked discoveries in the halls of the school’s forbidding castle, and Audrey Rose is compelled to investigate the strangely familiar murders. What she finds brings all her terrifying fears to life once again.
I can’t wait to hear what you think of this one! I wasn’t really a fan of Stalking Jack the Ripper, so I’m interested to see how they compare.

I feel like I was harder on SJTR because I really don’t read historical romance, but I did like it. However, everyone keeps telling me that HPD is so much better than the first one!

I thought it was great, especially coming from me. I’m not into historical romance. It really kept my interest!
