Sunday Shenanigans

Howdy guys! Happy Sunday and also Happy Easter if you celebrate the holiday! I cannot believe that it’s April already!

Books for the Week

Back at it again with four books this week. I didn’t finish The Wicked Deep last week, I’m determined to finish it this week!

I’ll also be trying to fit in an ARC of Song of Blood & Stone by L. Penelope and Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco. I’m excited about this one because I have heard nothing but good things about it.

What i'm feeling

I’m feeling good at the moment. Even though I didn’t finish The Wicked Deep last week, I feel like I still had a good reading week. I finished 3 books and posted 2 reviews. That’s gotta count for something right?

I have also been requesting fewer arcs from book promotion companies and have just been reading what I have on the bookshelf. Lord knows I need to read some of those books that I have had for a while. I’ve been really enjoying it.

I feel like I’m getting back into fantasy and other genres besides romance. Not saying that romance isn’t something I love, I’ve just remembered my love for young adult and fantasy. It’s like a match has been struck and I don’t want it to blow out.

On a personal note, this weekend I went to the Anime Matsuri convention. I know there is a lot of controversy around the Anime Matsuri, but I still went because it’s basically the only convention that we get for anime. I had a great time and geeked out with my friend Sarah. I’m happy I got to purchase some Vampire Knight merchandise!

random thoughts

Last week I said I wanted a book sleeve and I ordered my first one. I cannot wait till gets here. Other than that, I don’t think there’s anything else.

So was last for you? Did you do anything exciting in the non bookish world?

  1. All in all you had a great week! And I was lazy on the blog as I’m exhausted with work. Just reading today 😉
