Tacet a Mortuis ( The Elite Kings Club #3) by Amo Jones

The Elite Kings Club #3
Amo Jones
My Rating:⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hail to the king, and watch him reign, this game was somewhat fun, until the finale came…Now we’re here, with carnage and despair, and the only questions left to answer, are the ones that do not appear…

A king loses a war, and a swan sheds her wings, chaos collides with peace, as the crows begin to sing…

Enter if you dare, because I swear the end is near, but nothing is as it seems, and everything is so bare.

So what the f*ck is going on at Riverside,
I think, I think… everyone is about to die….

My Thoughts

“Blood means nothing, loyalty means everything.”

So Amo Jones killed me with this book! I blew through this so quick I didn’t even realize I wasn’t pacing myself. I have no idea what I’m going to do until the next book is released.

There were so many moments between Bishop and Madison that I could quote, but then it would turn this review into a 4 page documentary of my love for this book. So I’ll just give you a few.

“I was Madison fucking Montgomery, and Bishop Vincent mother-fucking Hayes was mine. “

“There was no one before you and there sure as fuck won’t be anyone after you. I begin and end with you, baby.”

It felt so good to be back with the Kings and in this crazy world. I missed these guys and all the drama that surrounds them. We get some secrets and more information in this book.

Madison, my poor baby Madison. She had some shit thrown at her this book that I was sure she wasn’t going to make it through. But once again she surprised me with how brave she was.

Remember when I said in my review for The Broken Puppet that I didn’t know if I wanted to kill Bishop or ask him to choke me? Well, it’s definitely choking me after this one! He is one rough around the edges guys and I could not get enough of him. His character growth this book shook the hell out of me and I was all for it!

“I feel something for you, Madison. Something I’ve never felt for anyone ever. But love isn’t a strong enough word to even come close to what the fuck I feel for you.”

If you are reading this Amo Jones, you have ruined me for other love interests for a while. How are they supposed to top Bishop? Lawd, give me strength!

There were only two issues I had. One of the things I didn’t remember was Nate and Tillie’s relationship. I guess since it has been a while since I read the previous books I was a bit confused on how close they were. I also wasn’t a fan of the deleted scene.

All in all, pick this damn book up when it releases on the 14th!

      1. I saw that you gave it 5 stars!!! I just can’t EVEN with this series!!! In the first two novels I had a love-hate relationship with Bishop. I’m glad to hear his character grows in this novel ❤
