Mini Breakdown: Eun Ha Won is in the third grade of high school. She hopes to become a teacher which her late mother always wished for. Ha Won has a bright personality and a strong set of morals, but she is unhappy at home. She’s unattached from her father, step-mother, and step-sister and also mistreated. Ha-Won works various part-time jobs to pay for her upcoming university tuition fees. She knows she needs to make more money to pay for the storage of her mother’s ashes at the cemetery. Her mother’s ashes were recently removed because of unpaid bills.
Meanwhile, Ji Woon, Hyun Min, and Seo Woo are spoiled cousins and live together in the mansion Sky House. With their different personalities – Ji Woon is a tough guy, Hyun Min is a playboy and Seo Woo is a musician – they don’t like each other at all.
One day, their grandfather orders his 3 grandsons to attend his 5th wedding ceremony. Hyun Min doesn’t want to go, but he hires Ha Won for 3 hours and takes her to his grandfather’s wedding ceremony. His plan is to upstage his grandfather’s wedding ceremony with the surprise appearance of Ha Won. There, the grandfather witnesses Ha Won’s no-nonsense attitude towards Hyun Min and decides to hire her as a live-in butler at the Sky House. He hopes she is able to change the ways of his grandsons.
I fell hard and fast for this show! I was hooked from the first episode and blew through all 16 episodes so quick! I was sold when I heard that this was loosely comparable to Cinderella. We have sweet moments, drama, and a love triangle!
Our main character is Eun Ha Won and she is so damn adorable that I can’t even deal! She was so hilarious and I couldn’t wait to see what she would do next. Isn’t she adorable?
The main thing I loved about her was how vulnerable she was. Even though she was going through some very messed up things in her life, she still managed to be there for each of the guys. Speaking of her going through some things, she was hella strong. I probably would have given up a long time ago if I was her.
Moving on to the cousins!
Now I do feel a little cheated, I was told that this was a reverse harem kind of story. That’s not the case and lord knows I wish it was. I ended up loving each of them because of all their differences.
We have Seo Woon who is the pop star, Ji Woon who just found that he was a part of the family, Hyun Min who is the playboy, and we have Secretary Lee who works for their grandfather. They are all different but each going through the motions of life and learning that having money can’t help buy you happiness.
Seo Woo, Ji Woon, Hyun Min, and Secretary Lee Young.
Like I said earlier, this was filled with drama and love triangles. It also shows how to go after what you want and what it means to be truly happy.
Overall, I loved it and will be rewatching this one soon because I didn’t want to say goodbye to these characters!
I remember watching this last year and I really enjoyed it. It was clichè and predictable but the characters were so fun ❤
