Books I’m Looking Forward to in August

Hey ya’ll!

There are so many new books that are releasing this month and I for one cannot wait! I wanted to tell you about some of the books I’m looking forward to. We have a good mix of YA and romance! So here are six books that I cannot wait to get my hands on.

August Books 1

Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J Maas 8/7 – This will be on everyone’s list for next month!

Losing the Field by Abbi Glines 8/21 – I’ve said time and time again that Abbi Glines is a nostalgic author for me. I will always try and read something new that she releases. I also really like this series!

The Chase by Elle Kennedy 8/6 – The cover, the blurb, and Elle Kennedy. YAS!

August Books 2

No So Nice Guy by R.S. Grey 8/9 – I will always love R.S. Grey’s rom-coms! she’s giving us best friends to lovers here and I can’t wait.

Mirage by Somaiya Daud 8/28 – Everyone I know who has read this has loved it! I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed this one will live up to the hype!

The Last Best Story by Maggie Lehrman 8/7- This story sounds likes it’s going be so darn cute! I have been having some good luck with YA contemporaries lately and I’m hoping this one will make me smile.

So those are the books I’m looking forward to this month.
Do we have any in common?
What are some books you guys are looking forward to?

Thank you for reading!

  1. I’m looking forward to Catwoman with my fingers crossed (not the biggest fan of Maas’ writing) but hoping for the best! That one, These Rebel Waves and the Forest Queen are my big August books and all on the same day 🙂

  2. OMG YES! I NEED the Briar book! I finally read The Goal the other day, and it has me even more excited for the spin-off. I love Glines, and am interested to get the next set of characters in her series. I thought she did a good job introducing us to them in the previous books, and I am always up for some Field Party stories. R.S. Grey is so good at rom-coms, so yeah, grabby hands. I read The Last Best Story last week. I didn’t love it, but I liked it. It was a solid read for me.

      1. I think the worldbuilding disturb me the most. I don’t know why this book should be set in space while the system of government is still a kingdom, it’s just too weird. And basically nothing happen in this book, I expect more action though haha but I guess book two will be better!
