My Top 5 Most Read Authors .. According to Goodreads

Hey ya’ll!

I saw this post over on the lovely Melanie’s blog and thought this would be really fun to see what Goodreads considers as my most read authors.

Let’s check them out!

💜Alexa Riley | Books Read: 24 – This should not come as a surprise to anyone, especially if you’ve been to my blog before. Their tagline is “two sassy friends who got together and wrote some dirty books” and I think that it’s true! I love their quick, insta love, over the top reads and I will always try to get my hands on a new release from them.
Favorite Title: Shielding Lily

💜Abbi Glines | Books Read: 21 – Abbi Glines is the one who got me into reading New Adult. I started reading her when I heard about Fallen too Far I have read everything she’s written since. Her writing hasn’t been my favorite in a few of her new releases but nostalgia keeps me checking them out.
Favorite Title: Fallen Too Far

💜C.C. Hunter | Books Read: 14 – The Shadow Falls series will always be my favorite series. That will never change. I loved it back in 2013 and I still reread it whenever I’m a reading slump. I stalk her Goodreads for new books all the time and she’s also a fellow Texan like myself!
Favorite Title: Taken at Dusk

💜Charlaine Harris | Books Read: 12 – I haven’t read anything by Charlaine Harris since 2016 when I binge read all of the Sookie Stackhouse books because I was having withdrawals from True Blood. I remember seeing her book at a used bookstore in 2011 and becoming obsessed with it. (remember it was a time when vampire and werewolves were THE things to read about) I will also go down fighting that books 1 – 10 were the best. She bullshitted and the other 3 and since I’m still salty about that, I haven’t read anything by her since.
Favorite Title: Dead Until Dark

💜C.L. Stone | Books Read: 9 – If ya’ll are familiar with Reverse Harem, then you should know the name C.L. Stone. Like me, this author probably introduced you into reading RH when you didn’t even know there was such a genre. Be warned, if you like straight up smut in your RH then you won’t find that here! The Ghost Bird series is a YA reverse harem that is more about the plot and then relationships. I don’t think she even kisses one of them until like book 10!
Favorite Title: Friends vs. Family

lightpinkdividerSo there are my top 5 most read authors according to Goodreads. Do we have any in common? What are some of your most read authors according to Goodreads?

Thanks for reading!

  1. My top author is Annabeth Albert with 26 books, then Jeri Smith-Ready, Cindi Madsen, Laura Florand, Ann Aguirre, Ilona Andrews with 14-15 books each.

I didn’t really keep track of books on goodreads until I started blogging so I’m sure I could add otehrs to that even though I haven’read their books recently.

I hadn’t known you could check this so that was fun!

  4. Mine are: Nora Roberts, JD Robb, Jill Shalvis, Marie Force, and Bella Andre. That’s interesting to me because I haven’t really read many of these authors in a while. I binge read their books back in the day. I’d say my current most read authors begin at like #11.

  5. Ooh thank you for sharing this. That was a little tricky to find. Looks like we have Charlaine Harris in common! I read her books ages ago tho. I read the sookie series before true blood came out and quite of few of her mystery novels too (which were mostly good haha). It looks like we gave up on the sookie series at around the same point.
I’ll have to check out Alexa Riley at some point.

    1. Those were so good back in the day! I’m glad to meet someone who agrees with me about those books!
I love Alexa Riley so much!
I always give the disclaimer that if insta love and over the top stories aren’t your thing, then you might not like them.
