TBR

November 2018 TBR

So we are back with a new monthly TBR. I tried not to fall into my romance cave like usual, so I added some fantasy! I read most of the books on my TBR last month so I hope I can keep it up!

Let’s jump in a see the books!

November TBR

  1. How She Died, How I Lived by Mary Crockett – This book tackles survivors guilt and I know I’m going to be an emotional mess reading this one.
  2. The Falconer by Elizabeth May– I read that if you liked SJM that this would be right up your alley so I ran out and bought it. I’m not even ashamed to admit it.
  3. Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer – Last month I loved A Curse So Dark and Lonely. I wanted to read something else by this author and it seems that I’m that only one who hasn’t read this one.
  4. The Duke I Once Knew by Olivia Drake – I have been falling deeper in the Historical Romance hole and I don’t want to be saved. This book is supposed to have two of my favorite tropes. Duke needed a governess and second chance romance!
  5. Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis – I have been recommended this book so much in the past week. I’m going to give it a shot to see if it helps with my anxiety, especially social anxiety.
  6. Enchantée by Gita Trelease – When I was reading the blurb and read  “glittering court of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette”,  I was sold!

So here is my TBR for the month of November! Has anyone read these?
What are you reading this month?

Thank you for reading!

  1. Some solid reads in here! I personally enjoyed Letters to the Lost, but as you know with contemporaries people either love ’em or hate ’em so I look forward to your opinion. Also I keep seeing the Falconer pop up so I can’t wait to hear how that goes for you! Happy reading, lovely!

  2. Congrats on stepping out of your romance-y comfort zone! I hope you discover some familiar and enjoyable elements in the fantasy genre. If you’re into historical romance, then many fantasy settings should suck you right in. Happy reading!

  3. I bought all of the books to the Falconer series one day as they were all really cheap as Kindle books. I didn’t know that if you were a fan of SJM that you should read these books — now I’m intrigued! Can’t wait to hear how it is.

  4. Ooh, I need to get my hands on The Falconer by Elizabeth May! I love SJM and I’ll definitely need something to fill the void after KoA haha.
The only book I know I’m definitely reading this month is The Dark Vault by V.E Schwab 🙂
