Until Cobi
by Aurora Rose Reynolds
My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cobi Mayson knows exactly who Hadley is to him the moment he sees her for the very first time. That doesn’t mean it will be easy for him to convince her to take a chance on him.
Hadley Emerson knows she could fall hard and fast for a guy like Cobi. A man who seems to show up every time she needs him, but she knows better than to just hand over her heart.
Knowing his future with Hadley is on the line, Cobi begins to tie their lives together. As the invisible rope that connects them tightens and things between them heat up, an unknown threat emerges threatening to take away their happily ever after and send them both into darkness.
I will never be done reading about the Mayson family and the Boom. Aurora got me again with the alpha males, steamy scenes, and drama.
I adored Cobi! Obviously not more than Archer and Harlen, but he’s now my third favorite hero of this series. He was gruff, bossy, and was such a dirty talker. He would do anything for Hadley and had no problem letting is overbearing alpha flag fly.
“That’s the kind of guy you are falling in love with, the kind of guy who wouldn’t care about his future if something happened to you. Are you okay with that?”
I was swooning and I loved his commentary! Hadley was sweet and feisty. Just the one to keep Cobi on his toes. In the beginning, she did sort of irritate me with her pushing him away because of her past. Did she think he wouldn’t know about her past before dating her? He’s a freakin’ cop! Of course, he knew!
The sex scenes! Oh goodness, the sex scenes. There were hot AF and steamy and I couldn’t get enough of them.
Now I will say the two things I didn’t like were the cover (I’m sorry, but I don’t like it) and that there were WAY too many things going on distracting from the romance. We all know that ARR puts a bit of background drama in her books to keep us on our toes. Well, this one had WAY too many incidents going on.
Besides those two things, I enjoyed the hell out of this book. I finished it one sitting and can’t wait to see what’s next in Until December.
Confession: I’ve never read any of ARR’s books.
Lovely review, Kayla. I need to try her.
