This was my first Helena Hunting book (I know, I know) but this won’t be my last. I may have already downloaded the next two of this series from the library already. Why didn’t anybody tell me how hilarious this book was?!

I adored our main characters, Ruby and Bancroft! The Banter, the chemistry, everything! Ever since that first unfortunate kiss, I was hooked to see where this book would go. Throw in a ferret and a tarantula and we have the best situation for romance. 

They only met each other twice before Bancroft left for 5 weeks. So their relationship bloomed over facetime and phone calls, which I love. You can really get to know them without all of the physical stuff. Don’t get me wrong, their sex scenes were an 11/10. It was just great to see them get along and fall for each other first. 

There is a novella about them before book 2 and I have to read it. I already need more Ruby and Bancroft! Like I said, I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to read more from Helena Hunting!
