My poker face has always been my greatest asset, along with my grit and determination. I was beholden to no one. Asked permission for nothing.

Then Jericho Forge took my life by storm.

I traded my freedom for something infinitely more precious, but I didn’t realize Forge was holding an unbeatable hand.

Now, all I have to do is survive the high-stakes game my life has become—with my heart intact.

But not falling in love with Forge will take the luck of the devil.

Luck of the Devil is the second book of the Forge Trilogy and should be read following Deal with the Devil. The Forge Trilogy concludes in Heart of the Devil.

India wasn’t supposed to affect me like this. She wasn’t supposed to get under my skin and into my blood.”

I was so happy to get my hands on this one. I was having Jericho Forge withdrawals and I needed a hit. Like I said before, he is my favorite alpha that Meghan has written.

As soon as this book starts we are thrown back into the action that ended book one. We get deeper into the plot and find out more about Forge and India. We get more of Forge’s past and also more into who India actually is.

There are plot twists and so many turns that will keep you on your toes. I feel like every chapter surprises me. Also, can we talk about the chemistry between these two? Hot damn!! It’s scorching and I don’t know how India isn’t spending all her time in bed with Forge.

That cliffhanger was so damn cruel. Like so freakin’ cruel! I need to get my hands on Heart of the Devil ASAP!

I received an ARC for an honest review. The quote was taken from an ARC is subject to change upon publication.

Making the jump from corporate lawyer to romance author was a leap of faith that New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author Meghan March will never regret. With over thirty titles published, she has sold millions of books in nearly a dozen languages to fellow romance-lovers around the world. A nomad at heart, she can currently be found in the woods of the Pacific Northwest, living her happily ever after with her real-life alpha hero.

  1. So let’s talk….I tried Savage Prince by this author and WHOA. It just wasn’t for me. Are all her books dark/gritty?? I have book one of this series on my tbr but not sure if I’ll enjoy it.

    1. I have only read her Mount trilogy and this one. I tried the Savage Prince trilogy but it didn’t work for me so I stopped after book 1.
I would try either one of those that I mentioned. They do have a grit to them, but I find them better than Savage Prince.
