April 2019 TBR

Hi friends! It’s time to make another TBR (that I better stick to). So last month I hit a reading slump and didn’t read not one book on my TBR. I am so determined to finish a monthly TBR and get some ARCs read this month. We also have a repeat from last month, The Hummingbird Dagger. Let’s jump into the books that I picked! 

✨ Waiting for Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey – This book is about a rom-com obsessed woman waiting on her meet-cute and the perfect guy. Obviously, things aren’t going to go as planned and I can’t wait to read about it! This is a BR with my friend Taylor over at Nerd Narration.

✨No Other Duke But You by Valerie Bowman – As soon as I read the synopsis for this one, I knew I had to read it. Love potions and two best friends falling in love? SOLD!

✨If I’m Being Honest by Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka – This was being pitched saying that it had elements of Mean Girls, Ten Things I Hate About You, and Taming of the Shrew. This better steal my damn heart! This is a BR with the lovely Melanie over at Meltotheany.

✨ I Want to Eat Your Pancreas by Yoru Sumino & drawn by Izumi Kirihara – This is a manga that I’ve been wanting to read for quite some time now. I know the name sounds absurd but I think this is going be such a sweet read. I can honestly feel the tears coming now. 

✨ The Hummingbird Dagger by Cindy Anstey – If this doesn’t give me SJTR vibes then I’m suing! JK lol!! But seriously though, that synopsis had me losing my cool when I read it. Also, the cover is giving me life.
