This week I am reading There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins. It’s out of the typical genres that I read, but I’m hoping the switch will help me kick this reading slump that’s been hovering.
I have recently finished two romances. I recently read Bought for Protection by Fiona Davenport(💓💓💓) and Moonlight Seductionby Jennifer L. Armentrout (RTC). I was super disappointed by Moonlight Seduction sadly. I went in expecting to love it after adoring the first book in the series.
If all goes well and I can kick this slump, then I plan on reading Fated by Rebecca Zanetti before my Overdrive loan expires. I haven’t read a paranormal romance in a while and this series seems to pretty popular.

I think you’re doing the right thing picking a book out of the normal to end your slump. I always pick something darker to help me out.

Hmm… Have you read Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn? It’s more of a thriller.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about your current read but i really hope it works out for you! I’m sorry Moonlight seduction was a disappointment for you! That really sucks! I haven’t read the first book yet but I hope i’ll get to it soon. I just picked up Wicked Saints By Emily A. Duncan!

I can understand the mixed reviews about There’s Someone in Your House. I gave it three stars for keeping my attention while I was in a slump.

I wonder if there’s something in the air because I know a lot of people (myself included) that are in a bit of a slump right now. It sucks big time but what can you do?
That’s a bummer about Moonlight Seduction. I hope this week in books treats you better!
