Hi friends, it’s time for another monthly wrap up!
April was such a blah month for me. I’m not in an absolute slump but I can honestly feel one coming on and I’m doing everything to try and shield myself!! I found a new anime to obsess over and read A TON of insta love romance.
Now before we jump into books, let’s talk about music and TV.
Music
If you thought I wasn’t going to talk BTS new album Persona, then you don’t know me well! These guys have blown me away again with another great album. Make It Right & Mikrokosmos my favorite songs currently.
TV
I have been watching Engaged to the Unidentified and have really been enjoying it. I feel like I have to put out a disclaimer though, this show is morbid and has some questionable characters. Keep that in mind before going into it!
Books
Now to the main reason of this post, the books! This month I’ve read 25 books & mangas.

Finding new animes and reading some insta love novels sounds like a great way to try to combat a slump! Fingers crossed it works, Kayla! ❤ I bought my sister the special Target edition of Persona for her birthday, and she has been obsessing over the photos that came with the CD! Haha.

That’s awesome to hear that your sister is obessed. I picked up version 2 and was a bit sad that I didn’t get any Jimin cards lol!

My reading has been going pretty well lately! All the recent titles I’ve read have been 4 and 5 star reads!

I love the new BTS album! I listened to it the entire day at work when it came out. I’m sorry that you feel a slump coming. Been there before. Hope it doesn’t last very long.

Oh goodess, that album is so good.. if only I could stop listening to Make it Right on repeat LMAO!
I’m hoping that this slump passes quickly. There are so many good books releasing in May!

I was in a slump this month and it took me a week to get out of it. I hope it doesn’t last long for you! I loved BTS new album but my favorite tracks are Boy With Luv, and Make it Right!

Make it Right is such a good song and Boy With Luv gets stuck in my head all the time! Espcially the chorus!
