May 2019 Anticipated Releases

Hi friends! May is bringing so many new releases and that makes me so happy. I decided to type a post about the ones that I am looking forward to the most. So many of these release on May 7th. That means that my poor bank account is going to be crying. (well, I will be when I check it!)

So let’s get into the books, shall we!

Finale (Caraval #3) by Stephanie Garber // Expected publication: May 7th, 2019

After the ending of book two, I’m positive that there is more to learn about who Legend actually is. While I’m not interested in more Scarlett, I’m super excited for more moments between Tella and Donte.

Somewhere Only We Know by Maurene Goo// Expected publication: May 7th, 2019

If you think I wouldn’t have this book on this list, then you don’t know me. I’m obsessed with K-pop, so reading that the main character is a K-pop star had me pre-order this right away!

Stepsister by Jennifer Donnelly// Expected publication: May 14th, 2019

So this a feminist Cinderella retelling that is focused on the story of one of the evil stepsisters. She’s trying to fit into a society that more focused on beauty and being soft spoken. I’m so excited about this one!

These Witches Don’t Burn by Jennifer Donnelly// Expected publication: May 28th, 2019

This book promises gay witches, blood rituals, and a cute romance. Do I need to say more?

What are some releases you are looking forward to in May?

  1. Oh i can’t wait for Finale! I’m so stupid.. I preordered it, but for some reason filled in my parents adress instead of my own, which means I won’t get it until the end of June..
