May 2019 Wrap Up

Hi friends, it’s time for another monthly wrap up!

May was a good month, so many awesome new releases and my birthday was this month.

Now before we jump into books, let’s talk about music and TV.

I have been listening to Taemin’s mini album Want on repeat all month. I love his voice so much! My favorite songs are Want and Artistic Groove.

Nothing new here.

Now to the main reason of this post, the books! This month I’ve read 31 books & mangas.

      1. Me too! I’m just hoping that maybe we’ll get a second season since they listened to all the fans. I know with the first season, a lot of fans were upset that there wasn’t going to be a second season and everyone had to keep reading the manga. But if they did a second season, I bet some many hearts would swoon!

      2. He really is and I love the way they’ve done him in the remake. Granted, I love him no matter what, but compared to how he was in the first version of Fruits Basket, I definitely like how his character is in the remake for sure. It seems more natural and not so over the top.

    1. I think it was just a “its me, not you” situation with If It Makes You Happy. I couldn’t find myself enjoying it enough to continue. Were you still planning to pick this one up despite the reviews?

& I’m super sad that I didn’t enjoy With the Fire on High. I always seem to have a issue with really hyped books though.
