I have to say that I enjoyed this one so much better than book one! We had secrets and mysteries that kept me wonder what was going on. Not to mention scenes between Raven and Maddoc that made me want to ship this relationship with everything I have. 

With the way Boys of Brayshaw High ended, I needed to know who Raven went to. While my suspicions were correct, it was more complex than I thought. Hell, this whole series turned out more complex than I thought! I have more questions than I went in.

Our main girl Raven has grown on me but she still makes me want to shake her. She has this way of self sabotaging her life when she feels too overwhelmed. I think that Maddoc said it best. See quote below.

“That’s the thing about Raven Carter, she does whatever the hell she wants, making shitty judgment calls in a snap that you never see coming, and hopes it’ll all work out in the end, fuck the consequences.” 

I just hope that she opens herself up to accepting love and learn that she is worthy. 

I still love our guys Maddoc, Royce, and Captain. They deserve good things and they better not get hurt. Although, I have to say that my favorite character is Victoria. She was funny and loyal to Raven. I loved that girls reactions to Raven and the guys. 

All in all, with an ending like that, I NEED answers okay! I guess you could say I’m invested now.
