Hello friends! This Tuesday I’m going in on the Trash Tuesday post that was created by Devon at Red By Dev.
For those who are new to the Trash Mob, Trash Tuesday is a weekly series meant for gushing about things we’re trash for. TRASH, well-know to the youths as the following, is in no way, shape, or form meant to be negative. Trash is an endearing term meant for us fangirls (and boys) that may take things just a tad bit too far sometimes. And that’s OKAY.
If you do join, please link back to the Trash Tuesday blog page!
Thomas Creswell (Stalking Jack the Ripper series)
art is taken from Kerri Maniscalco’s Tumblr.
“If you were guilty and wanted to hide, where might you go first?”
“Depends on what I’m guilty of. Dirty thoughts or wanton follies, I’d send myself straight to your quarters to be punished.”
This list had to start off with the love of my fictional life, Thomas Creswell. His adoration for Audrey Rose and his witty banter turned me into his love slave in book 1 and never let me go.
Rhysand (ACOTAR series)
art is taken from Nan Fe Instagram.
“When you lick me,” he said roughly, “I want to be alone—far away from everyone. Because when you lick me, Feyre,” he said, pressing nipping kisses to my jaw, my neck, “I’m going to let myself roar loud enough to bring down a mountain.”
Yes, I am one of those that love me some Rhysand. You can judge me, I really don’t care at all. That possessiveness and dirty talking mouth of his really made me blush when I read this series for the first time. Seriously, he can probably out talk some of the erotic male leads that I have read.
Kal (Aurora Rising series)
art was taken from Underlined’s website.
“Who am I to deny gravity, Aurora? When you shine brighter than any constellation in the sky?”
I had to throw my newest character I’m trash for in this list. I want to learn more about this alien so much. Even though he was blunt and kind of closed off, I came to be so protective of him while reading.
Duke of Ashbury (Girl Meets Duke series)
“Yes, I am certain it’s infatuation. I’ve felt it before.”
Now Ash was the one who became a maelstrom of irrational emotion. That emotion being jealous anger. “Toward whom?”
“Why should it matter?”
“Because,” he said, “I like to know the names of the people I despise. I keep them in a little book and pore over it from time to time, whilst sipping brandy and indulging in throaty, ominous laughter.”
Last but not least, I had to include Ash. I became trash the moment Emma barged into his office wearing a wedding dress. His dry humor is like no other! It was impossible not to become the biggest stan for him.
