Hello friends! So I am starting a new series on my blog and it’s going to be called Books that I would like to Re-Review. There are times where I am going through my Goodreads shelves and wondering if there books that I would still like if I read them again. I also have books that don’t have reviews since it was before I started reviewing books for my blog.
So once a month, I will pick a title that I’ve read previously, 2017 and older, and reread them to see if my rating changes and actually give it a review if it doesn’t have one.
I have already started and reread Knight by Kristen Ashley last week and it’s funny to see how my reading tastes have changed. It will be upload to my blog this week!
The next four I am thinking about re-reviewing are:
♥ Paper Princess by Erin Watt | Read: April 2017 Rated: ★★★★☆
♥ Real by Katy Evans | Read: May 2015 Rated: ★★★★☆
♥ Bared to You by Sylvia Day | Read: December 2015 Rated: ★★★★☆
♥ The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter | Read: February 2016 Rated: ★★★★☆
So here comes the fun part! I would love if you helped me choose the next one to pick up!
Comment with your choice of the book you would like me to review and I will rereview next month.
So what do you guys think? I’m hoping that this will help fall in love again with some older favorites of mine!

I think Paper Princess has won the vote! I’m excited to pick this up in November.

I’m scared you’re not going to like Paper Princess as much if you re-read it, so I kind of don’t want you to. LOL
I love this idea! Very cool!

Me too, but I’m going to dust my paperback off. Fingers crossed I love the Royals the second time around.

I’d love to see a Paper Princess re-review because I’ve always debated picking this one up myself based on the mixed reviews- I also recently learned Elle Kennedy is the other half of this writing duo!

It’s a very “either you love it or hate it” type of series.

I loved Knight and Real! But as our reading tastes change I am frightened to re read some of them and not enjoy them as much as I did!

I enjoyed Knight more this time around! I am so scared to read Real. It stole my heart back then.

I would also love to see a re-review of Paper Princess! It’s interesting how a second read can completely change your opinion of novel (I’m looking at you, Lord of the Flies haha) 🙂

That’s okay if you don’t pick!

That’s such a cool idea and I would be right there with you. My taste has changed so much over the years. Worst case when I look at books and don’t even remember what the story was about. And 4 stars two years ago, would probably be a 3 star read today. It’s amazing how much my idea of a great book can change over such a “short” time.

I’m curious if Paper Princess would live up to what you thought from your first reading, especially if you continued the series into the other books. So that gets my vote. This is great feature, I just might join you and do it myself. 🙂

This is such a great idea! I would love to do something like this with books I read before I started blogging, especially like teen favorites 🙂

I agree! It’s so strange looking about on some of the books I’ve read in middle/high school compared to now. Talk about a whirl wind! Has your reading preferences changed since then?

I just got the complete set of the Twilight Saga, again. So I’m thinking about starting with that.

Right?! I was like, “Do I really want to do this to myself and possibly mess up something that helped me grow as a reader?” I mean, this basically introduced me to werewolf romances sooo….😏

Haha, that’s how I am Beautiful Disaster. That book introduced me to New Adult romance and I refuse to reread it.

Oh this is the best idea Kayla! I have to vote for Paper Princess because it’s one I rated pretty well and I think back now and I have a feeling the rating would just plummet LOL I’m almost scared to look back at that one and it was only a year or two ago.
