Oh no, it’s one of those romances with a shirtless man! Hahaha! I am currently reading Loving Cara by Kristen Proby. After I finished reading Shadows by her last week, I went to Overdrive and saw that they had so many her titles and decided to pick one up. I’m not far, but I’m intrigued!
I recently finished The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen. Y’all. Y’ALL! I was so disappointed by this. I honestly wish that I just asked someone how it ended instead of finishing it.
Since I’m still abandoning all my ARCS, I’m going to pick a book I recently hauled. Winterwood by Shea Earnshaw. Now I didn’t love her debut, but her writing is so good.
Please let this book be as good as that cover!

I LOVE shirtless men on covers. I know books like that get a bad wrap but I don’t care.

I just think they need to be on the right book, I guess. Some really don’t fit. I also don’t like when people change covers from one to the other just to make them more marketable.

I am hoping so much that I love Winterwood. I know I love her writing, I just hope that I can love the story as well.

I feel the same way about Ernshaw and Winterwood I had some real issues with her first book but she’s definitely a good writer. I hope its good!

Ahh I’m so sorry you didn’t like The Wife Between Us! I literally posted my review today 😂. I do know what you mean by the ending. I wanted more justice.

I recently read the Wife Between Us too. Ended up still enjoying it but I was a little underwhelmed because it was hyped up so much.

Oh no, bummer you were disappointed by The Wife Between Us — I still have a copy of the book languishing on my owned tbr and this doesn’t excite me. I hope Winterwood was good, though!
