January 2020 TBR

Hello friends! It’s 2020 and I’m back with my first TBR post of the year. I’m just going to ignore that I haven’t made a TBR since October. I need to find a reading schedule while still getting adjusted to all the life changes I’ve had recently. Are 4 books and a manga a bit overboard for someone who barely has time to read lately? Yes it is, but I’m going to give it ago!

💗💗💗January 2020 TBR (1)

💗Twisted Palace by Erin Watt – I started rereading The Royal series last month and can’t wait to reread the final book in Reed and Ella’s story. I love this fucked up family so much!

💗An Incurable Case of Love, Vol. 2 by Maki Enjoji – I read and enjoyed the first volume of this series so much and I have NOT patiently waiting for this to release this month.

💗Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson – I DNFed this book last year and I’ve been wanting to give it another chance. Here’s to second chances! I’m buddy reading this with my twin Autumn over at Chapter Malliumpkin.

💗Storm and Fury by Jennifer L. Armentrout – I love JLA and her books. So when I saw that this was taking place in the same world as the Dark Elements series I know I wanted to read it. I should have done a reread of that series first, but oh well. I’m currently listening to it on audio and I’m enjoying it so far!

💗Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer by Katie Alender – I can’t lie and say that the title didn’t make me pick this up. It did and the synopsis sounds so good. It’s less than 300 pages and takes place in Paris. I don’t need anything else.

So there you have it guys! The books that I’m hoping to read in January.

What’s on your TBR this month?

  1. Good luck with your tbr!!! I can’t wait to see your thoughts on Twisted Palace. That series was such a roller coaster ride and I loved it!!! I wish they’d release another series like it!!

  2. Good luck with your reading pile this month, Kayla! I have faith that you shall succeed! 🙂 You know, I don’t think I’ve ever read Twisted Kingdom. I quit the series after the second book, I believe. Hmm, maybe I should revisit that decision. I’ll be on the look out for your thoughts on that one.

    Happy New Year, Kayla!!

  3. Good luck with Truly Devious! I reread it last year and did NOT enjoy it as much the second time and the sequel kind of drove me batty… getting book 3 from the library and hoping that my memory is good enough for going in blind because I won’t be re-reading again for a refresher lol
