TBR

July 2020 TBR

Hello friends! I haven’t made a TBR since January, but IDGAF! I’m back with a TBR and hoping that I’ll stick to it and it will help me get back on track. I only picked four books so I’m crossing my fingers and toes that this is achievable!

♥♥♥

July 2020 TBR (1)

💗Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power – This book sounds so eerie and mysterious! I remember reading a lot of good reviews about this authors debut last year and HAD to pick this up!

💗Shine by Jessica Jung – If you though my K-Pop loving ass wouldn’t have this on my TBR, then you don’t know me. Not only is it about the strict and sometimes harsh K-Pop world, it’s by Jessica Jung who was in Girls Generation. *goes and listens to I Got A Boy by Girls Generation*

💗Dear Ava by Ilsa Madden-Mills – I can’t belive I haven’t read this one yet. This is a secret admirer romance and I’ve heard so many good things about it.

💗A Song Below Water by Bethany C. Morrow – I picked this up on release day at Barnes & Noble and I’ve been mesmerized by this cover ever since. This talks about black mermaids, sexism, and racism. I HAVE to read this!

So there you have it guys! The books that I’m hoping to read in July.

What’s on your TBR this month?

  1. A Song Below Water is probably on my list, too! I ordered it about a month ago, but it was backordered so I am going to get it any time this month, and I just know that I’m going to want to read it as soon as it arrives because it is so beautiful.

  2. NICE Kayla, love how diverse it is. I don’t have any of them on my tbr, but I’ve seen them around. Hope you’ll love them.

  4. I’ve heard so many good things about Dear Ava! That is 100% on my list (but will most likely be an August read). I recently finished an addictive rockstar romance novel called “Endless” by Kaylene Winter. Ty is the lead singer of Less than Zero and comes from a broken household and fits the “tortured artist” role perfectly. He falls for Zoey – educated, upper middle glass girl with hopes of being a lawyer. They are thrown together right before Zoey heads to school and Ty goes on a tour with the band and although they have a passionate amazing short romance together Zoey knows it’s not for the best and ghosts Ty. This leads to him fully embracing the rockstar lifestyle to try and forget her. They end up crossing paths again almost 10 years later and even though its 100% meant to be it is not an easy romance to fix. I loved both of these characters so much and not only that you get to know Ty’s bandmates too who are all great (sexy) and fun characters as well! This is going to be such a great book series and I can’t wait to read what happens next. You can read more about it on the author’s website – https://rockerromance.com/
I hope you loved it as much as I did! It seems like something you might like (perhaps also for August TBR)!!
