Hi friends! How was everyone’s January? I hope you read a lot of amazing things! I started feeling like my usual self last month because I couldn’t stop reading. My January was full of rereads and books by Devney Perry along with Kristen Proby. I sadly had two one star books and one of them has a ranty review will will be coming in the next week or two. There’s really nothing to add about my personal life. Besides working and reading when I could, I haven’t been doing anything but sleeping.
Let’s get into my wrap up for January!
Music
This was mostly what I listened to this month on my way to and from work.
TV
The little TV I did watch was reruns of Untold Stories of the ER. Don’t ask me why, but if I saw this was on I had to sit and watch it.
Books
Now to the main reason for this post, the books! I read 27 things in January.
Any title that has a * next to it means that it’s coming up in the next few weeks

Manga Wrap Up
Tokyo Ghoul by Sui Ishida – I decided to pick this up and get out of my comfort zone of only reading shojo manga. Surprisingly I really enjoyed this! It’s a bit gory but I enjoyed the action and seeing how Kaneki is dealing with becoming half ghoul. I’m excited to order the next volume and continue this series! 1/14 VOLUMES
Devils’ Line by Ryo Hanada – I saw that this was in Kindle Unlimited and just decided to see if volume 1 would hold my interest. Well the joke is on me because only volumes 1 and 2 were on KU and I’m addicted. As soon as I finished volume two, I went to Barnes & Noble and bought the third one! 2/14 VOLUMES
Great wrap-up! I have always been curious about Toyko Ghoul but I feel like it might be too much for me, haha. Maybe I will give it a try one day.

Ooh, you had a great reading month! I’m glad to see that you found a 5 star read by Tessa Bailey! And yay for listening to BTS! I’m so hooked on kpop now that I only listen to kpop and the occasional 90’s slow jams mix.
I hope February treats you well too, Kayla!
