Wrap Up

August 2021 Wrap Up

Hey y’all! How was everyone’s August? August for me was surprising. I only read 10 books and if you know me, then that’s not like me. I usually read about 15-18 books a month. Just reading the amount that I did was kind of hard, I can’t even lie. I felt like a rut was coming on, but I think changing my genre at the end of the month helped me.

I will say that the best thing about August was them releasing the PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) at Dunkin and Starbucks. I won’t even say how many I’ve had in the past two weeks, but just know it was a lot! Outside of reading, I’ve rekindled my love for playing The Sims 3. I’ve been playing almost every free chance that I get.

I hope y’all are well and had a great August. Let’s get into things I’ve read, listened to, and watched!

As usual, these are some of the songs that I’ve been loving. I heard Loverboy on TikTok and couldn’t stop playing it! Also, Stray Kids had a comeback and it’s perfection. I have a Playlist that has my current favorites in it. If you’re interested, you can listen to it here.

Nothing new here. That rekindled love for The Sims 3 I talked about earlier has taken all my tv time.

Now to the main reason for this post, the books! I read 10 things in August.
