Hi friends! I’m back with a post of mini manga reviews! While manga is a favorite of mine, I kind of fell off from reading it. Thank goodness, I rekindled my love for it!
This post will include 3 short reviews for a new series and also two series I’ve been reading!
Demon slayer Vol,7 by Koyoharu Gotouge
I wasn’t able to get to the theaters to see the movie, so I picked this volume up since it ends where season one left off. It felt so good to be reunited with this crew. Like I said before, this picks up immediately after the anime left off. We got action and even some funny moments and looked into another new demon blood art.
I’m super glad that I already have the next volume on my bookshelf because the ending of this one had me reeling. From what some people have told me, volume 9 is going to hurt.
UPDATE: I was correct. Volume 9 did in fact wreck me.
The Springtime Of My Life Began with You Vol, 1 by Nikki Asada 
I have been having a lot of luck with the first volumes of new series lately and this one was no different. Our main character Suehiro was adorable and relatable. I can understand wanting to fade to the background hiding behind a book. I’ve been doing it for years!
Takasago never hesitated to tell Suehiro where they stood. We love a male lead who doesn’t beat around the bush. The things he did for her really made me happy that he cared for her. I hope in the next volume we get more special moments between them!
I’m pretty sure that they are building up to have a certain someone as another love interest and I’m hoping that I’m wrong. Not just because I don’t like love triangles, but I don’t want anything messing up the relationship between Takasago and Suehiro.
I enjoyed this and I’m super excited for the next volume!

Ao Haru Ride Vol, 13 by Io Sakisaka
Thank goodness it’s over! While that may seem a bit harsh, this series took a lot out of me. It took so long for these characters to get together! So many people were either put in the middle or just had to suffer through their drama. With that said, they were cute together once they actually got together. I would read another series from this author, I just hope it won’t be as exasperating as this one was.
Books and Blends 
Oh, girl, you have so much to look forward to with Demon Slayer. The movie can be rented/bought on YouTube if you’re interested in watching that and I heard that season 2 starts up on Dec. 5th. Mark your calendars!! 🙂
The other two books look good but I don’t know about being emotionally wrecked by that third book. I might read it anyway, haha. Great reviews, Kayla!

I watched the movie a few months ago! It was good! I’m just impatiently waiting for season two while reading the manga lol.
