Wrap Up

June 2022 Wrap Up

Hey friends! I’m back with my wrap up for June. I have to admit, June was a long month for me. Healthwise, I’m feeling a bit better so that’s good. Reading wise though … yeah, it’s terrible. I’ve been in a slump the past two weeks and the only thing keeping me reading at all is the Demon Slayer series. I don’t know what happened, the month started off strong! Hell, I even finished a series and we know my attention span could never!

So fingers crossed something sparks my interest or at least makes me want to pick up something other than manga.

Music

June was a good listening month for me! It’s mostly K-Pop as usual, but I had these songs on repeat ALL THE TIME!

TV

I have been putting off watching the last season of the Fruits Basket remake since last year. I love how true it stuck to the manga until the very end. It gave me all the serotonin feels that I needed.

Now to the main reason for this post, the books! I read 18 things in June.

      1. Maybe. I get like that sometimes and it takes a favorite author to pull me out. Have you ever read Kate Canterbary? I think you should try her books The Worst Guy and The Cornerstone. They’re KU.

      2. Oh! I have a recommendation you HAVE to try! I read Elizabeth O’Roark’s A Deal with the Devil yesterday and it was FABULOUS! The tension, chemistry and was so good. I’m binging the series now.

  1. I am so sorry that you are dealing with a slump, those are the worst for sure! But it looks like you still got some good books read despite that. I hope July you get back into reading more!
