I’m getting really good at cutting my losses.

First, the husband. Divorcing him was the best decision I ever made. But between single-parenting and job-hunting, I can’t catch my breath. When a celebrity blogging position falls into my lap, I’m determined to succeed.

That is, until I get my first assignment and actually see Noah Frazier for the first time . . . practically naked and dripping wet. My heart races and I forget how to form complete sentences. His chiseled abs, irresistible smirk, and crystal blue eyes are too perfect to be real. So, what do I do? Get drunk and humiliate myself, of course.

I’m ready to forget the awkward night, yet Noah has no intention of allowing me to move on. Instead, he arranges for me to write a feature on him, ensuring a lot more time together. One embarrassing moment after another, one kiss after another, and before I can stop myself, I realize—I’m falling in love with him.

But when the unthinkable happens, can I even blame him for cutting his losses?

What I wouldn’t give for just one last time . . .

My Thoughts

“I’m going to win your heart, Kristin. Be ready.”

I don’t why I put off reading this book for so long! It was honestly so good I ended up finishing this is one day.

This story begins with Kristin realizing her marriage with her husband is over. She was married to a man who was not who she fell in love with. He constantly put her down and was so emotionally abusive to her.

This is what he does to me. He breaks me down and then does something sweet to make me think it was in my head. I’m so fucked up because of it.

I was so happy that Kristin was getting out of this marriage. Nobody should be treated like that. He was horrible! But if that relationship hadn’t ended then she would have never met Noah. She really tried to avoid starting anything with Noah, but she was destined to fall in love with him. Noah wasn’t going anywhere, no matter how much she tried to push him away.

“Noah, you don’t know me. Trust me, I’m the last person you would ever want to think about. I’m going through what I can only assume will be a nasty divorce. I’m a single mom, who clearly can’t hold her liquor, and my job is to write gossip about you. Oh, and I can’t sing for shit.”

These two warmed my heart you guys! I was living for the interactions between them. They fell into such an easy relationship and the banter was awesome! Also, you can’t help but fall in love with Noah while he’s trying to break down Kristin’s walls.

My favorite part of this book wasn’t even the romance. It was the friendship between Kristin and her group of friends. These girls were always there for one another and it was refreshing to see such a good look at female friendship! They help Kristin and helped build her up and they only have the best interests for her.

If you’re looking for a sweet romance, then this one is for you.
